Ingredients

  • 1 link Spicy Italian chicken sausage
  • .25 Red onion
  • .25 cup Cherry Tomatoes
  • 1 ball Homemade pizza dough
  • 2 tbsp Semolina flour
  • 1 tbsp Garlic oil
  • 1 tbsp Pizza seasoning
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese
  • .5 tsp Red pepper flakes optional if you like heat
  • .25 cup Arugula optional

Instructions

  • Brown the Italian chicken sausage in a pan. Set aside on paper towel on a plate.

  • Slice about a quarter of an onion into thin slices.

  • Slice the cherry tomatoes in half.

  • Roll the dough thin using a rolling pin and place it on a semolina-dusted pizza peel.
    1 ball Homemade pizza dough, 2 tbsp Semolina flour
  • Brush the surface with garlic oil, then sprinkle lightly with pizza seasoning.

  • Top with shredded mozzarella cheese, browned chicken sausage, and red onion, & halved cherry tomatoes, spreading everything evenly across the top of the pizza.

  • Slide the pizza onto a preheated pizza stone in a 500-degree oven and bake until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling. If you don’t have a stone, a pizza pan, baking sheet, or sheet pan works too—just note the crust may be slightly softer.
  • Slice the pizza, and top with fresh arugula. Serve.
