Ingredients for Cinnamon Toast Crunch Krispie Treats:

  • 12 TBL butter
  • 27 oz box of Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal (about 10 ½ cups)
  • 26 oz marshmallows (use a 10 oz. bag and a 16 oz. bag)
  • Cooking spray for the pan

Instructions for Cinnamon Toast Crunch Krispie Treats:

  1. Prepare your pan. Grease your pan lightly coat with cooking spray. This will prevent sticking and make it easy to remove your treats later.
  2. Melt the butter. In a large pot or large saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over medium-low heat. For a deeper, nuttier flavor, let it brown slightly to make brown butter.
  3. Melt the marshmallows. Add the 26 oz oz marshmallows to the pot and stir constantly until melted. Lower the heat if needed to prevent burning.
  4. Mix in the cereal. Remove the pot from heat and immediately fold in the Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal, making sure every piece is coated in the gooey marshmallow mixture. You are looking for an extra soft texture so hold out a cup or so of the cereal to ensure it is the consistency you want.
  5. Transfer to the prepared pan. Using a greased spatula tip the pan and get the mixture into the pan. Then, using the back of the greased spatula, or plastic wrap, gently press the cereal mixture into the pan. Don’t press too hard, or you’ll end up with hard treats instead of soft and chewy ones! Trust us!
  6. Let set. Allow the bars to cool at room temperature for at least 30 minutes.  Do not be tempted to snack till they are cool!
  7. Cut and enjoy! Once set, turn the pan over onto a cutting board and cut into squares.
