A fun way to show off to your party guests at your next Halloween Party is to serve these vampire shots in prosecco or champagne. These bloody syringes are filled with raspberry jam that we made with fresh raspberries and sugar. If you are doing a themed party, a popular alternative to jello shots are these non-alcoholic raspberry syringes. It is a great way for both adults and kids to have fun. The kids can have the vampire shot in lemon-lime soda, and for the adults these are a great addition to a shot of vodka, or a flute of prosecco or champagne.
We got our syringes at Michaels Craft store. Look for these regular syringes in party stores, like party city. You can also find even larger syringes [eafl id=”12137″ name=”Syringes for Vampire Shots” text=”HERE”]

Of course! You know I am extra, and had to make the raspberry vampire blood from fresh raspberries. However, you can totally purchase seedless raspberry jam, and slightly warm it to thin it a bit. It works perfectly!
How do I make traditional Halloween syringe jello shot recipes:
If you want to make traditional jello shot you can use strawberry jello and follow the below method. If you decide to make these with jello, it is important to use the ration of water and alcohol in order for them to set up. Don’t be tempted to add more vodka, or you will end up with liquid jello. The best jello shot syringe recipe is one made with your favorite alcohol. Below is a vodka shot syringe recipe that can be made by just following the package instructions on jello, band just subbing out 1 cup water for 1 cup vodka. If your favorite alcohol is Malibu rum, sub that out to make a Malibu jello shot. The hardest part of making these is the time you have to wait to have them set up!
Recipe for traditional syringe jello shots:
- 1 – 3oz box Cherry or Strawberry Jello (Red jello is key!)
- 1 cup Vodka
- 1 cup Water
- 12 Jello Shot Syringes
How to make traditional syringe jello shots:
- Bring one cup of water to a boil on the stove.
- Remove from heat and stir in packet of jello until completely dissolved.
- Stir in vodka
- Insert a shot syringe into the jello mixture and pull the plunger up to fill with the jello mixture.
- Chill for 2-3 hours in the refrigerator or until set.
